Muhammad listening to the Archangel Gabriel

Dear Editor,

The correspondent's letter of 4th June 2017, on how to address Islamic radicalism was good, but the real answer to the problem lies in the origin of Islam itself.

Islam began with Muhammad and his mentoring 'angel', whose mentoring continued over a period of 23 years. The 'angel's' teachings were written down and formulated to become its 'holy book', the Quran. (Koran)

Muhammad believed his 'angel' to be the the same Archangel Gabriel who was God's messenger to His believing people as recorded in the ancient Hebrew-Jewish and the Christian Scriptures, which recorded the expected Messiah's fulfilment of all of the prophecies regarding Himself as were foretold of Him in the ancient Scriptures.

The supreme problem for Islam is, that Muhammad's 'angel' was NOT the Archangel Gabriel as he was led to believe. His 'angel' numerously contradicted the Gabriel of the ancient Hebrew-Judeo-Christian Scriptures, with his contradictions clearly designed to challenge the veracity of the early Scriptures. From now on, Islam shall be "the only true faith in the sight of God." (3:19) All who do not accept its supplanting of the Messianic Judeo-Christian religion are to be deemed "Unbelievers" destined for hellfire. (3:9; 22:49; 35:36)

Until Islamists can be brought to realise Muhammad was duped, from the beginning, by a lying 'angel' masquerading as the Archangel Gabriel, whose intention was to challenge the veracity of the Divinity's own ancient Messianic religion by introducing a false counter-ideology into the world, Islamists will continue to live the deceptions of an ideology always capable of spawning an arm of lethal radical terrorism.
